Club Information

Founded in 1957, the Westlake Junior Women's Club (WJWC) is a non-profit organization dedicated to assisting our community both financially and through service projects. Each year, we organize and sponsor several fundraising events. Proceeds from these events allow us generously support local organizations and agencies in our community. Our largest fundraiser each year is the November Basket of Treasures craft show held at Westlake High School. We may sponsor additional fundraisers (including The Home & Garden Tour).

Proceeds from our fundraisers have benefited the following organizations:

• Compeer • Far West Center • Matthew's Lending Library • Meals on Wheels in Westlake • North Coast Ministry • Providence House • Relay for Life • Westlake Service and Assistance Center • Tops Soccer • Westlake Center for Community Services • Westlake Historical Society • Parent Connections • Womankind • Youth Challenge • Westlake Police and Fire Departments • Girls Softball • Boys Baseball • Lakeshore Day Camp • College scholarships for HS Seniors living in Westlake •

Membership Requirements

Payment of Annual Dues ($40.00 for 2007-2008 club year)
Provide 5 plates of baked goods for Basket of Treasures bake sale
Work a 4 hour shift the day of Basket of Treasures (2nd Saturday in November) November 10, 2007
Work a shift at Home and Garden Tour fundraiser June 2008
