President's Message

Welcome to the Westlake Junior Women’s Club website! This new website has been a wonderful way to communicate not only to our members, but to our community as well. It has helped us to achieve what we feel we do best-give back to the community. Each year our members donate countless hours of their time to help our community with food drives, packing of holiday food baskets, holding a birthday luncheon for our neighbors over 90, as well as organize and run fundraisers for the community. Our biggest fundraiser of the year is Basket’s of Treasure Craft Show. This past May, we were able to distribute checks totaling up to $15, 545 to non-profit organizations within the area. In addition, we also awarded six scholarships to high school seniors in Westlake.

This year we will be entering our 52nd year of service to the community. We are proud to be an active part of our community and we will continue to strive to put forth our best effort to give back.

Baskets of Treasure 2009 craft show will be held Sat Nov 7th 2009 9:30am- 4 pm

General meetings for WJWC are held on the first Wednesday or Thursday of every month at 7 pm. Please refer to the monthly newsletter for current information on the day and location of the meetings. Club business is covered at the beginning of each meeting and then program or social will follow. The newsletter will also contain additional activities that may not be reflected below.
